LABTEST - Infrastructure support in the current Microsoft platform
Need:
The Labtest had goals of rapid growth in business and to sustain this growth, realized it was necessary to continuous improvement of its environment of Information Technology. Thus, chose to invest in improving the management of IT, implementing governance, with the definition of clear and measurable processes, according to market best practices (ITIL and Cobit). The Flag Intelliwan was chosen to support this work, because of its significant experience in the area.
Solution:
As a first step, the Flag Intelliwan conducted a study of diagnostic procedures for the IT of Labtest , identifying the level of maturity of each one, taking as the basis Cobit and ITIL. After the diagnosis, was created an improvement plan outlining the procedures of greater relevance to Labtest and which had the largest gaps as best practices.
According to the Plan of improvements have been defined the major policies of IT that designed and implemented the processes of Incident Management, Service Catalog Management, Change Management, Configuration Management and Supplier Management.
With the project, the Labtest reached an improvement of the operational area of Information Technology, earning quality, consistency, optimization of resources, transparency in the management and satisfaction of users. In addition, the Labtest now has an IT ready to sustained growth, accompanying the needs of the business.
